With an ethereal quality to calm the soul but fire the imagination bamboos are essential in almost any garden as their evergreen presence gives beauty all year round. Bamboos are very hardy and extremely versatile, ideal for use as single specimens or in multiple plantings to create a screen or hedge. Good rich soil is best, and regular watering for the first two years until established.
