Palms and Palm-Like
If your aim is jaw-dropping, knee-trembling landscapes you’re in the right place. Palms are magnificent; hardy to very low temperatures, evergreen and generally a doddle to look after they are one of the most essential components of the exotic effect. Palms and palm-like plants are incredibly versatile, lending themselves to the lush Jungle or minimalist Mediterranean gardenscape. As a rule most like plenty of water in summer, though some will tolerate drier conditions, and benefit from plentiful feed when established. Some can grow quite quickly, but most are sedate, if not downright slow, in the UK.
