A huge range of the very hardy European Olive, one of the most desirable of all trees, each with a presence and aura of its own. Narrow evergreen leaves, dark green above, grey below, and tubular white fragrant flowers followed by edible fruit (that need soaking in brine before you eat them!) and fabulously characterful and achingly beautiful trunks.
They are much hardier than commonly thought - with mature specimens withstanding below minus 15C - and are suitable for container/patio growing as well as in the ground. Requiring little daily maintenance except occasional water and feed and a periodic prune.
