COLD START TO SPRING !!!
April already but someone needs to tell the weather. The forecasters keep saying it will warm up just waiting for it to happen.
On the brighter side we have movement on the Rheum, Gunnera and Banana. In the shrub section we have a colourful display with the Nandinia domestica and Firepower showing a brilliant display of orange, reds and yellows.Whilst the Photinia Red Robin and Little Red Robin all showing off their bright red new growth.
Even the Phyllostachys and Fargesias have started to wake up with new culms now coming through.
